What is community coaching?
As a community coach, I work with founders and leaders at early-stage startups and growth-stage companies to support them and their teams in developing and implementing community-based strategies to launch and grow their businesses.
Community strategies can support one or more of the following areas of business value:
- Product - create feedback loops to gather input and build what your customers want and need.
- Support - empower customers to support each other, and decrease the demand for support from your in-house support team.
- Engagement - facilitate connection and collaboration between people with common interests and objectives related to your business.
- Growth - expand brand awareness and drive adoption of products/services.
How would we work together?
As a coach, I won’t tell you what to do, be prescriptive, or do the work for you.
I will you ask lots of questions, offer my personal perspective based on my experience building communities and companies, and guide you toward your own, confident conclusions.
My clients and I work closely together, much like a team.
We meet regularly, to maintain a clear vision of your objectives and how to achieve them. We establish simple mechanisms to capture a combination of quantitative data and qualitative signals and report comprehensive, actionable metrics.
Together, we plan, learn, and plan again. On your own, you and your team implement the plan and integrate the learnings. Through an iterative process, you design and foster a sustainable community connected and fueled by symbiotic relationships.
